What I Did This Summer

Here we are in September, the beginning of the fall season, back to school time for the kids and your business! We’re looking forward to fall this year, as an opportunity to rejuvenate, after the very hot summer we’ve had– both literally and figuratively. Summer’s the ‘white hot’ social season here in the Hamptons. But just because the temperature will be starting to drop as we move in to fall, things are far from cooling down at HCG. We have many exciting new things to look forward to, the Hamptons Film Festival, harvests, and making the rounds on the conference circuit!

Summer was a growth opportunity for us here at HCG and it also afforded for some time away from the usual routine, in the form of a working vacation to Maine! Based on my past experience, I need to give myself time and a change of scenery to recharge my energy. At Hamptons Creative Group, we’re all about loving the face to face connection, whether in a personal note, at networking events or reconnecting/making new connections. However, I love the idea of flexibility too, working virtually and still having the capability to stay completely connected! It feels great knowing that I can work anywhere and everywhere and still find creative inspiration!

In the Hamptons

Hamptons Creative Group’s success relies on our ability to build long-term relationships both with and on behalf of our clients. For example, more than a decade ago while publishers of Miller Publishing Group, Linda and her brother came up with the private label publication “In the Hamptons” for client Norma Reynolds Sotheby’s International Real Estate. It is a title that has been extraordinarily successful for them and the title’s stuck all these years.

Now a second generation of Reynolds – daughter Vicky – has taken the reins of the business. Linda met Vicky more than 20 years ago while at Miller Publishing Group, and has stayed connected ever since. When Vicky and the company were ready to re-launch themselves, it was a natural choice to work with a company like HCG. Now, Linda and Hamptons Creative Group are moving the Norma Reynolds brand forward in a new incarnation of the relationship that includes “In the Hamptons.”
