~ Heard Around The Cooler ~

October is the most exciting month for
us! Not only is it Linda’s birthday month, it’s the opening of a
first in the Hamptons- an East End, high profile boutique-style
hotel with hot restaurant, hot nightclub and hotter celebrities. As a
bonus, Hotel Indigo has partnered with Hampton Luxury Liner-the
upscale bus service to and from New York City and our neck of the
island.
Linda recently had lunch and a tour of the new Hotel Indigo
with owner Rob Salvatico, hotel chain entrepreneur. The grand
opening’s on October 20, and we know that our budding relationship
with Rob and the hotel will be a long, beneficial one. So if you’ve
got some time, check out Hotel Indigo’s 100 contemporary guest
rooms on eight private acres, and enjoy dining on fresh seasonal
menus with local ingredients. At Indigo, it’s all about the
details!

Hamptons Creative Group~

Reassess your brand regularly. Your
experience, ideas and ambitions are going to evolve as your marketing
develops, so make sure your brand is keeping up. Regularly revisit
your websites, online profiles, photos and other elements of your
brand every few months. Your brand is always a dynamic work in
progress.

Need help figuring out what your
brilliant brand is? We’re experts in helping you discover your
success stories and ensuring the ideal audiences hear your marketing
messages.

~Success Stories~

We love telling success stories! Stitch
Custom Fashion Design & Expert Tailoring
in Southampton is one of
our favorites right now. Stitch offers ready-to-wear pieces and an
exclusive place where you can collaborate in the design. When you
bring in your favorite garment to Stitch’s expert seamstresses,
they replicate them. Or they’ll help you create a design of your
own from over 100 different fabrics.
October 16 is Stitch’s next
style trunk show and Hamptons Creative Group designed the invites,
the email blasts, and created all the social media messaging. This
couture collection styling event includes makeup artists, skin care
experts, and a well known shoe chain to talk about shoe fetishes –
wild!
Rose Jewelers, another HCG client, will be there to showcase a
hot designer and stunning, exclusive jewelry lines. And learn about
the newest trends setting the wellness world on fire; among them,
seated yoga! You don’t want to miss this event at Stitch, who (and
it’s not official, so don’t tell anyone yet, wink, wink) is
talking with a celebrity fashion house to be its exclusive tailor in
the Hamptons. See you there!

~Announcements~

In news from other parts dear to the
Hamptons Creative Group family, our writer Kelly reports that the
Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta runs Oct. 2-11. This year’s 39th
annual event features 500 registered hot air and gas balloons and 650
balloon pilots representing 17 countries and 39 states. From its
modest beginnings in 1972 with 13 balloons launching from a shopping
mall parking lot, the Balloon Fiesta has grown to multiple events
launching year-round at the custom-designed, 365-acre Balloon Fiesta
Park. This is the largest ballooning event on earth, the most
photographed event on earth, and the largest annual international
event held in the United States. Talk about a success story! We can’t
wait to see Kelly’s photos when she visits the Hamptons in just a
few weeks.

The Hamptons International Film
Festival

Oct 7-11. And more than just a swanky cinema affair this
year, the Festival is teaming up with the East Hampton Food Pantry to
raise awareness for families in need of food-relief in the East
Hampton area. Last year alone, the need for aid was extraordinary –
more than 800 households per week sought food-relief, and the EH Food
Pantry was only able to provide one bag of dry goods groceries and
apples once per week. This year, the Pantry’s supplies have already
run out. Find out more about how you can help here.

The Mother of All Tag Sales happens Oct
15-17! Linda’s cleaning out her attic to prepare her house for
staging and sale, and you’ll get to see it on (a home & garden
channel…) TV soon! This professionally run tag sale, coordinated by
We Move It, will streamline Linda’s life and get her stuff sold. We
Move It has partnered with a film crew to capture all the happenings
– from prep to final charity haul away. If you’re in the area,
come pick up a treasure!

Oct 20-24 Linda will be at Mary Allen’s
Inner Peace Immersion Retreat in Joshua Tree, California. This
venture is all about simple living, hiking, good food, yoga, and the
cleansing starkness of the desert. Have a great time, Linda. See,
told you October’s a big month!
